How do I know I need a coach or mentor?

There will always be some crossover between these two disciplines.

How long will it take?
Each situation is unique. For the best results, the process of change can take anywhere from three months to twelve months, where you see changes manifest in your life.
What is the difference between coaching and mentoring?
Coaching is a more directive approach focused on a specific goal. Think of a sports coach whose focus is on winning each game, with a long-term goal of winning a championship.
Mentoring is more generalised and involves and integrates all aspects of our humanity. In this process, we collaborate utilising my training, experiences and knowledge to support new patterns of thinking, behaviours which support a healthy, happy and productive life. A mentor is a professional friend who draws on their more personal experiences and focuses on all aspects of self-actualisation. Mentoring can be a more protracted process and gets into the fabric of our humanity to support the client on all levels of their existence; it is more directive.
There are crossovers between these two disciplines, focusing on the present and the future in both personal and professional, in harnessing the present and creating a future that supports optimal health and wellness.
